The Mesh technology of 50S brings a new level of stable and reliable connections thanks to the intelligent and flexible routing of intercom signals, and the significant technical improvements made to the original Sena Mesh Intercom TM algorithm. Sena's 50S units actively share information with each other within the Mesh at blazing speed. An ingenious system of messages and responses between the units made it possible to transfer 80% more data even in challenging conditions. In addition, the Mesh units quickly determine the ideal path to effectively convey messages from pilot to pilot. MULTICHANNEL COMMUNICATION AND PRIVATE CONVERSATIONS
With the 50S, there are three options available for communicating between users: Multi-Channel Open Mesh Intercom TM, Group Mesh Intercom TM, and Bluetooth Intercom.
Sena's 50 series with Multi-Channel Open Mesh Intercom (Open Mesh) option is the first to bring Multi-Channel function in the industry. With similar functionality to a traditional radio system, users can choose from nine different channels to use when connected in Open Mesh mode. Just press a button to connect to the Mesh 2.0 network and communicate with a virtually unlimited number of users within a radius of up to 8 km (min. 6 users at 1.6 km intervals). Thanks to the ease of use, the ability to connect a large number of motorcyclists, the range and the ability to choose between 9 50S channels certainly changes the rules of the game.
If, on the other hand, you prefer to have a private conversation, you can switch to Group Mesh Intercom mode, in this mode the 50S supports up to 24 users leaving the range of action unchanged but, to ensure privacy, only invited people will be able to participate in the group. Whatever way you decide to connect with your travel companions, you can always count on the reliability and stability of the Mesh 2.0 connection.
Finally, it is also possible to connect with the classic Bluetooth channel that supports up to 4 users within a radius of 2 km, those who use the 50S can also act as a ''bridge'' and connect friends connected via Sena Bluetooth in the Mesh 2.0 group!

With the voice commands of the 50S you no longer have to lift a finger! All functions will be easily accessible from answering the phone to creating a Mesh group. 50S supports voice commands in eight languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Japanese and Russian.

FAST CHARGING AND AUTOMATIC UPDATE WITH SENA WIFI ADAPTER
50S has a high intensity battery that allows you to recharge the device 30% faster than previous models. Full charging takes just one hour and you can talk on Mesh Intercom for 9 hours or via Bluetooth Intercom for 14 hours. In addition, with the fast recharge function, you only need 20 minutes to have 3.5 hours of talk time in Mesh or 6 in Bluetooth.
The Sena WiFi adapter included in the package can be programmed to automatically download and install firmware updates as soon as they are made available, just connect the cable to the WiFi network and you will be sure that your 50S is always charged, updated and ready to go!
