Surface Guidelines
The Quad Lock® Universal Adaptor uses 3MTM VHBTM 4952 adhesive, which bonds to smooth, non-textured, non-porous surfaces such as:
Plastics including PC, ABS, PVC, Nylon, Acrylic
Unpainted metals
Uncoated glass
Non-Compatible Surfaces
The adhesive will not bond to the following substrates:
Rubber, TPU, TPE
Leather
Silicone
Hydrophobic coated glass (also known as anti-fingerprint glass, commonly found on the back of most modern smartphones)
Soft-touch coatings or paint
Low surface energy plastics such as Polypropylene (PP), Polyethylene (PE), Acetal, HDPE
Wood
We strongly recommend using a phone case with the Universal Adaptor if your phone has a glass back.
Ensure the surface is thoroughly cleaned and dry before applying the Universal Adaptor.
The 3MTM VHBTM adhesive is for single use only and is not reusable.
